Shofar George will provide training through Shofar Bible School, discipleship, growth monitoring, courses, and ministry opportunities, helping students share their faith effectively and bring about positive change through the power of the Holy Spirit. Students will be exposed to all areas of ministry and will have opportunities to serve in every department of the church: media, worship & sound, kids, community service, and youth.
We have partnered with three organizations that make a significant impact in the local community: Local Motion, which works with teenagers in underprivileged communities; Life Community Services, which serves vulnerable and orphaned children; and Work4ALiving, which empowers the unemployed. These partnerships will provide our students with hands-on opportunities to serve the community.
The program is hosted in the beautiful city of George, South Africa, surrounded by the sea and mountains.

Work 4 A Living
It’s easy to feel hopeless and anxious about wide scale unemployment and great need in the world. We are simply a group of people that decided to take action in this area, rather than give in to hopelessness.
This takes the form of a job and business training model that is easily replicable and can be self-sustainable. The training is available to all, and emphasises practical and soft skills that are essential to thriving in the working and business world. We are a registered non-profit organization based in South Africa, but we have centers that operate in many countries around the world.
Our dream is to see a center in every town and city in the world where there is poverty and need.

To create a platform for motivated youth in vulnerable communities to reach their full potential in Christ, by discipling and equipping them so that they can make a positive change.
