We equip our students to be effective in three areas of life: church, community, and the workplace.

 

Shofar George will provide training in the form of Shofar Bible School, discipleship, and growth tracking, as well as ministry opportunities to help students effectively share their faith and bring about positive change through the power of the Holy Spirit.  Students will be exposed to all areas of ministry, and have the opportunity to serve in a department of their choice: media, worship & sound, kids, community service, or youth.

Life Community Services, an organisation that works with vulnerable and orphaned children, and Work 4 A Living, an NPO that seeks to empower the unemployed, will provide our students with opportunities to serve the community in George. The programme is hosted in the beautiful city of George, South Africa, surrounded by the sea and mountains.

        Established in 2001, we are committed to developing and implementing Christian-Based interventions that transform the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children in George, South Africa.

        Work 4 A Living

        It’s easy to feel hopeless and anxious about wide scale unemployment and great need in the world. We are simply a group of people that decided to take action in this area, rather than give in to hopelessness.

        This takes the form of a job and business training model that is easily replicable and can be self-sustainable. The training is available to all, and emphasises practical and soft skills that are essential to thriving in the working and business world. We are a registered non-profit organization based in South Africa, but we have centers that operate in many countries around the world.

        Our dream is to see a center in every town and city in the world where there is poverty and need.
